What would happen if you started with recycled materials first? And then produced a design utilising what was available?

This was the idea proposed by our client, it directed the architecture and led to the design and construction of Eclectic House.

​

Located on a steep block in one of Canberra’s northern suburbs nothing within the walls is ‘ordinary’ or off-the-self. Carefully designed for maximum thermal comfort and energy efficiency, a key driver in every MyMyMy Project.

 

The diverse provenance of the materials became the narrative for the project. This was only achievable due to a great relationship with the builder.
